Master 6 Knit Stitch Patterns
knit & Purl
why stop at plain when you can purl with a little pizzazz? With just two basic moves (knit and purl), you’ll be whipping up scarves, dishcloths, blankets, and all kinds of cozy fabulousness. Who knew simple stitches could serve such serious looks?

Think knitting is just knit one, purl two, and call it a day? Think again. With just these two humble stitches, you can whip up six chic patterns that’ll turn your beginner projects into ‘wait, you made that?’ moments. Scarves, dishcloths, blankets—the world is your yarn ball.

Learn: linen, sand, double moss, flag stitch, brocade & seersucker stitch.
(Must be able to knit & purl. This is not a learn to knit class)
Master 6 Crochet Stitch Patterns
Simple Crochet Stitches for Blankets

Blankets are a beginner’s sweet spot: soothing, cozy, and basically therapy with yarn. But let’s be honest—pick a stitch that’s too fancy, and suddenly you’re unraveling rows, side-eyeing the tutorial, and questioning all your life choices. Stick with simple stitches, let your hook do the flirting, and watch your blanket come together without the drama.

Learn: simple granny square, shell, moss/linen, Suzette, granny cluster & picot stitches.

Ready to fall hard for fall? These pumpkins aren’t just décor—they’re the ultimate autumn flex. Dress up your mantle, table, or nature nook with a patch of festive gourds, or whip up the small size as the cutest little pincushion your sewing kit’s ever seen. Go classic orange, cozy cream, or chic green—or mix them all for that “yes, I have my life together” vibe. Each pumpkin finishes at a plump 4–6" tall (stem included, because size matters).

You’ll get a printed pattern packed with full instructions and photos. Perfect for confident beginners who are ready to level up.
Want to actually enjoy learning to sew? If you’re after a fun, no-nonsense intro that covers the sewing basics and dips your toes into dressmaking, this course is your new best friend. We’ll get you feeling confident, inspired, and itching to tackle more projects in no time.

Our Easy Pyjamas/Scrub Bottoms class is the perfect starter—whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine or you already know your bobbin from your buttonhole. You’ll learn the essentials, then put them into action by making your very own pair of fabulous pyjama bottoms (long or short, for women and men). Cozy, practical, and handmade by you—what’s not to love?

No experience? No problem. Jump in as a total newbie or join us after another beginner class. Fair warning: this is an action-packed sewing day! But don’t stress—the class is small, so you’ll get plenty of one-on-one help, plus the bonus of meeting fellow sewists to chat and laugh with along the way.

What you’ll walk away knowing:
- How to set up and thread your sewing machine
- How to sew straight and curved seams
- How to troubleshoot machine hiccups
- How to decode a commercial sewing pattern
- How to measure yourself properly
- How to choose the right size and tweak fit
- How to pin, cut, and sew your fabric
- How to finish seams, add elastic, and stitch hems

By the end, you’ll not only have a pair of pj bottoms/scrubs/shorts… you’ll also have the skills to keep sewing more.

CRAFTY THURSDAY
✨ No-Sew “Quilted” Star ball Ornaments ✨
Looking for a quick, easy, and actually-fun holiday make? Meet
your new obsession: fabric star ornaments that look gorgeouslyquilted—without a single stitch. Yep, despite the name, nothing
here is truly quilted and there’s zero sewing required.
In this hands-on class, you’ll turn small cuts of festive fabric or
your favorite scraps into dimensional star ornaments perfect for
your tree, household decor or for gifting. Your first ball takes about
an hour; after that, you’ll be cranking out sparkle-worthy
keepsakes in half the time. Warning: you may become addicted to
choosing color combos.
You’ll learn how to:
• Pick fabrics and color placements for high-impact stars
• Prep, fold, and layer pieces to build a crisp, symmetrical
design
• Secure everything neatly (no sewing machine, no problem)
• Add finishing touches: hanger, ribbon, and a polished back
• Customize variations so each star feels uniquely you
Perfect for:
Total beginners, crafty dabblers, and seasoned makers who want
a fast, satisfying holiday project—no quilting experience needed.
You’ll leave with:
At least one dazzling no-sew star ball (and the know-how to make
a whole constellation at home), plus a step-by-step guide to keep
the magic going.
Bring your favorite fabric scraps if you’ve got them—or just bring
yourself and your festive spirit. Let’s make ornaments that look
boutique, not “last-minute.”
CRAFTY THURSDAY
🎄 Let’s Talk Balls 🎄
Knit Your Own Christmas Ornaments
Yep, you read that right—we’re knitting balls. Festive ones. Soft,
colorful, totally legit holiday décor that you can hang proudly on
your tree (or gift to friends, if you’re feeling generous).
In this workshop, I’ll walk you through making the A STRANDED
pattern in the round—using either double-pointed needles or the
magic loop. Never knit circularly before? Never tackled a
colorwork chart? Don’t sweat it—I’ll break down those first few
rounds step by step so you’ll be juggling your own balls in no
time.
In this class you’ll:
• Cast on and knit in the round (DPNs or magic loop—your
call, there will be a tutorial)
• Read and follow a stranded colorwork chart without
panicking
• Shape, stuff, and finish your ornament so your balls look
their best
• Walk away with one fuzzy new ball and the skills to knit
plenty more
No experience with stranded knitting? Even better—you’ll get
bragging rights when you show off your very first ball. Already a
pro? Come for the laughs, stay for the stitches, and maybe drag a
friend along who’s always wanted to play with yarn.
By the end, you’ll have at least one fabulous ball, maybe two, and
a tree that’s got way more personality than the neighbors’.

👕 Sew You Want to Make Shirts?
- get your shirt together!
You’ve nailed the bottoms… now it’s time to tackle the top! If
you’re ready to strut into the world of shirtmaking, this class will
give you the skills (and the swagger) to sew a closet full of button-
ups that look straight off the rack—but better, because they’re
yours.
We’ll cover everything from fabric choices to those fussy little
details that separate homemade from handmade-with-style.
Expect plenty of pro tips, sneaky tailoring tricks, and maybe a few
“aha!” moments along the way.
Here’s what you’ll master:
• Picking the perfect fabrics, interfacings, and tools for killer
shirts
• Tweaking patterns to add unique design details (because
you’re not basic)
• Sewing plackets—from classic to advanced, without the
sweat
• Crafting collars so sharp they could cut glass (plus a tailor’s
trick for crisp points)
• Setting sleeves and cuffs like a pro—no more sad, saggy
seams
• Professional seam finishes you can do on a plain ol’ straight-
stitch machine
• Topstitching that’ll make you want to brag
• Polished hems, buttons, and buttonholes to bring it all home
By the end, you’ll have the skills to create shirts that fit, flatter, and
seriously impress. Bottom line? You’ll never look at store-bought
the same way again.
(please complete the “bottoms up class” or have some basic
garment sewing experience)
🎄 Crazy for Christmas 🎄
Victorian crazy quilt Stockings with a Twist
(Two days 1-4p)
Why settle for boring store-bought stockings when you can stitch
up a showpiece worthy of a Victorian parlor? In this class, we’ll
dive into the art of Crazy Quilting—that gloriously over-the-top
mashup of luxe fabrics, wild shapes, and “more-is-more”
embellishments.
You’ll start with a vintage sewing pattern and build your stocking
from an eclectic mix of fabrics (the fancier the better—think velvet,
silk, brocade scraps). Then we’ll pile on the fun: beads, ribbons,
buttons, trims, and yes—even a spin on the embroidery
machine to whip up decadent stitches and motifs without
cramping your hands.
What you’ll do:
• Piece together irregular shapes like a quilting rebel
• Raid your stash for fabrics that shouldn’t go together (but
totally do)
• Embellish with bling, beads, and bows galore
• Use the embroidery machine for jaw-dropping details in half
the time
• Create a stocking so fabulous it might outshine the tree.
Bring your sense of humor, your scrap bag, and your love of
sparkle—because in crazy quilting, there are no mistakes, only
masterpieces.
